The Motor City Youth Brass Band is a British-style brass band that is designed especially for brass and percussion performers from grades 8 through 12. Founded in 2006, it is the only ensemble of its kind in Southeast Michigan. In the 2011-2012 season, band members will participate in regular rehearsals, perform in four concerts including a travel opportunity, and participate in sectionals with brass performers and teachers from the Motor City Brass Band.
